I wouldn’t call it a leap or a struggle.
Nor would I agree that it happens fast.
It’s a slow process… But when it happens.. You can’t step back.
You wake up one morning, as simple as that and you realize.. Fuck. Why do I continue to be a part of something that has slowly made me feel empty.
And that’s when you realize you need to help yourself because no one else is going to.

…In other news, I can’t help but sympathize with your way of venting. As a social workers daughter, everyone is entitled to their own form of therapy.
Twitter is a cest pool of melodrama.
1. people bashing eachother is stupid. More stupid if you hide behind a computer screen or phone. Do you really feel like this is the smartest interaction?
2. Almost always someone gets hurt. Why allow that pain to fester?
3. I’d like to believe that we can all be normal people by keeping our most meanest opinions to ourself but of course there is no ‘normal’.
4. Is it worth it? is it? is it really?
